Fleur-De-Lis Ornament - Red - Old World Christmas

This French themed ornament is the perfect addition to your Mardi Gras decor!

Fleurs-de-lis, or flowers of the lily, is a symbol of purity and perfection. When Pope Leo III crowned Charlemagne as emperor, he presented him with a blue banner covered with fleurs-de-lis. Eventually, the fleur-de-lis became the French royal emblem, associated with French culture and heritage. Gift this to your Francophile so they can display their pride on the tree.
