If you know the Redline Flight crank, you probably know what a Techmatic bottom bracket is. It was not just a solution for installing the Redline 401 Flight crank, it was a piece of precision engineering worthy of Redline's reputation.

Using the original Redline blueprints drawn by Linn Kastan draftsman Duke Romero, Redline manufactured these Techmatic cups and packaged them with a teflon-sealed bearing from IJK Japan, just like the 1980s version.
